Nikki Blonsky is a relatively new actress who has played in only four movies and two TV series. Her starring-role movies include Hairspray and a made-for-TV movie entitled Queen Sized, while her support-role movies are Harold and Waiting for Forever. Her TV appearances include cameos on Ugly Betty and leading roles in Valemont and Huge.

First movie: Hairspray

Nikki (Nicole) always loved preforming in school plays and operas. While working at Cold Stone Creamery, she auditioned for her first part as Tracy Turnblad for the movie Hairspray. She sang her own songs and still continues to sing. Hairspray follows the story of a young girl who has always dreamed of singing and dancing on live TV. Since she does not fit into the show's stereotypical part, Tracy's mother tries to discourage her. After gaining the support of her friends and mother, Tracy sets off to get a job, dancing on her favorite TV show.

Made for TV: Queen Sized

Although Queen Sized never hit the big screen, it was still a hit on the cable television channel Lifetime. In addition to playing the starring role of Maggie Baker, Nikki Blonsky also sang her first single 'On a High,' which also debuted in the movie. This movie follows the story of Maggie, an overweight teenager who decides to run for prom queen. Against all odds, Maggie is determined to prove that girls that are not skinny or popular are still winners and are worth just as much as everyone else.

Although Nikki Blonsky is not always recognized by name, she is definitely recognized by reputation. She is a very talented aspiring actress.
